Finally, battery heated gloves with the heating elements in the fingers and the thumb!

For many years I have been asked by my customers if there was someone out there manufacturing gloves with heating elements in the fingers. Until now, I haven't been aware of such a product that didn't have to be connected to a motorcycle battery. Just before Christmas '06, I became aware of the existence of the WARMTHRU battery heated gloves. I am now obtaining these gloves come from a company in Scotland. The shell of the WARMTHRU gloves is made from ribstop with a milky coating, waterproofing, and waterproofing. The padding is poly-fleece. The gloves also have a highly reflective strip (1/8") across the knuckles.

The WARMTHRU battery heated gloves also come with a "Push-button" on and off switch. You don't have to remove the battery to stop the heat as with other battery heated gloves.

DIRECTOR'S PRODUCT TEST:
We would say this wouldn't we, but these are the best heated gloves around! They are a brilliant price too. These are the first gloves I've tried where I am satisfied with just about everything. No product is absolutely perfect of course but these come closest - in fact it's hard to find fault. I particularly like the smallness of the batteries because my jacket sleeve easily pulls over the battery pocket - not quite so easy with a larger D-Cell battery for example which protrudes more.

I better mention the heat before going any further - SIMPLY FANTASTIC. Each finger has its own element. It's not a boxing glove but, heat-wise, it really does literally punch above its 100g (3.5ounces) weight.

To test the waterproof capability I ran the glove under a tap! Water off a duck's back, what more can I say. Ideal therefore for motorcyclists, especially considering the additional windproof quality combating the dreaded wind chill factor. Gloves are exceptionally well padded making sure that the heat produced by the gloves is retained, then trapped using the efficient velcro wrist-strap.

Charging the battery is easy. I plugged in the charger and connected both batteries. A small red LED switches on during charging then blinks off, turning green when complete several hours later. Very easy.

Washing: Do not machine-wash. Hand-wash only, with care, preferably with a damp cloth or sponge. Batteries should be removed before washing. After washing ensure that gloves are completely dry before replacing batteries.

Batteries: They are rechargeable and should only be used with the charger provided. They can only be charged within the following range - AC100V-120V, 50/60 Hz, 0.2A. If you aren't using the gloves with batteries operating you are advised to remove the batteries to avoid draining them.

Battery Charging: Connect two batteries to the charger then plug the charge in to the electrical outlet - you must charge two batteries each time and not just one. The charger indicator will be red when charging and green when complete. Charging for the first time takes 4-8 hours, 5 hours thereafter. The chargers are made with 3 pins flat BS in CE Standard. They may also be used with internationally approved adaptors in Europe and the USA. The adapters (included) are needed in the USA!

Included with the purchase a pair of these exceptional gloves, are two rechargeable Lithium-ion batteries, a charger, and a converter for plugging the charger into US outlets.
